The job and its impact:

- Leading the team through management and mentorship.

- Contributing to recruitment activities.

- Developing standards and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met and consistent.

- Preparing and optimizing budgets.

- Recommending technological developments and improvements in inefficiency.

- Developing the team to ensure quality end products.

- Collaborates with the company's executive leadership to develop and meet organizational goals while supplying expertise and guidance on projects, operations, and systems.

- Identifies, recommends, and implements new technologies and systems to improve organizational processes and decision-making.

- Ensures that departmental decisions such as staffing, development, organization, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.

What essential skills do you need?

- Proven ability in design & architecture of cloud platforms & applications.

- Proven ability to architect complex high-performance cloud services.

- Past experience with Openstack APIs in solution multi-tenant SaaS/PaaS systems.

- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines & tools in deploying HA applications in public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.

- Always ready to design, and architect, solutions with a passion for always learning, teaching, mentor high professional standards & best engineering practices.

- Hands-on, detail-oriented people and project manager, making the CoE teams accountable.

- Ability to judge talent, form synergistic project teams, and ensure accurate project estimates followed by timely quality project deliveries

- Owning end-to-end engineering deliverables of the CoE teams.

- Partners with the CEO to build Business Strategy; Corporate Development, identifying and addressing new growth opportunities

- Role modeling Core Organizational Culture and values to lead teams to success

- Strong global communication skills - ability to inspire trust and confidence

- Excellent articulator, with mastery in MS Suite Presentations; representing and speaking at conferences and trade shows

- A fearless approach to lead the organization to success

- Willing to travel with prior exposure to global markets; primarily the USA, the UAE

- Charismatic presenter

- Expertise in UML diagrams in support of HLD & LLD process.

- Author high-quality design documentation.

- Deep understanding & respect for the Agile process.

- Experience in working with the culture prevalent in product development organizations.
