G4S - Hub Training Lead - Human Resources/Learning & Development Department (15-20 yrs)

Job Title :Hub Training Lead

Reports To (Title): Head Training (Direct)

Job Summary :

Responsible for leading training activities for the new/ existing G4S direct employees at the schools under purview in the Hub. Define/ refine systems and processes at the Hub to ensure compliance with defined internal guidelines and regulatory requirements of PASARA act for training. In addition, also lead the new joinee orientation for indirect staff at the Hub as per guidelines defined by the HR COE.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

1. Training Planning

- Prepare training roadmap (plan, budget) for training schools under purview basis hub/ recruitment plan

- Review training facility, headcount adequacy and highlight any requirement/ issue to the direct training head

- Participate in review of any training policy change and provide suggestions based on on-ground reality and implementation

- Engage in communication with various training school and drive implementation of policy

- Review training school metrics vs. plan, resolve cross functional issues

- Plan vs actual on training school metrics (no. of people trained etc.)

2. Training Delivery

- Review overall plan for recruitment for the month in the hub and review plan for training batches in the schools under purview

- Oversee timely conduct of training as per plan

- Check the quality of training delivered by reviewing feedback from participants across the schools, audit reports, self-conducting audits by visiting the schools etc.

- Plan improvements in the training schools basis feedback and need

- Suggest any modifications in the training curriculum based on client feedback and regulatory requirement

- Lead specific content development projects assigned (conceptualize content, review vendor output etc.)

- Compliance to timeline, course content delivery etc.

- Improvements in training school vs. plan

3. Indirect New Employee Orientation/ Onboarding

- Plan for indirect new joinee orientation at the Hub in line with guidelines set by the relevant HR COE

- Coordinate with various entities in the hub (sessions, visits, 1:1 meetings etc.) to ensure smooth and timely orientation as per plan

- Seek proactive feedback from the new joint to ensure he/ she is comfortable/ needs any assistance etc.

- New joinee (Indirect) feedback on onboarding

Qualification and Experience Required

Qualification :

- Minimum: Bachelor's/Master's Degree or Diploma in relevant domain

- Desired: Ex - Police services (ex-inspector grade and above)

Relevant Experience :

- Minimum 15+ years of overall experience

- Extensive experience in managing training facilities of large distributed services organizations
