Manager - Production and Planning

Production and planning managers are primarily responsible for increasing a firm's productivity and ensuring that production targets are met on time. They oversee the production process, manage the budget, ensure the supply of raw materials and monitor the quality of the products.

We are looking for a qualified Manager - Production and Planning to organize production according to demand and quality standards. You will be the one to ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner.

An ideal candidate is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills.

The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee production planning and management activities within the organization.

2. Develop production plan, budget and timelines according to production specifications.

3. Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications.

4. Monitor production status and ensure timely delivery.

5. Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities.

6. Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.

7. Assist in new product development and enhancements.

8. Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

9. Determine equipment, materials and manpower required to complete production

10. Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues to management promptly.

11. Assist in employee hiring, training, performance evaluation, retention and termination activities.

Qualifications :

1. 6-8 Years of experience in Vehicle Manufacturing Industry

2. Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering

3. Experience in working with EV Manufacturing companies will be an added advantage

4. Language Requirements : English, Tamil and Kannada (Mandatory)

Important Information : This role holder will work based out of the corporate office in Bengaluru and will be required to travel to the Manufacturing plant at Hosur, Tamil Nadu.
