Communicate: - Preparing concise documents, tailored to various levels of stakeholders to articulate complex finance issues clearly and enable effective collaboration. Financial Modelling: - Build financial models for our digital products(Mobile App & Platform) as well as our hardware products(Riku & Semi). - Analyse and report optimal revenue metrics. - Identify and propose additional revenue streams. Fundraising: - Assist the CEO in fund raising with valuation, TAM, SAM & SOM & revenue projections. Compensation Planning: - Assist the CEO in setting up the Employee Stock Option Pool(ESOP's). - Advise on innovative compensation structures to attract and retain top talent. Cost Centers: - Establish cost centers across the company. - Prepare periodic reports and share with the respective owners. - Advise the CEO with forecasts across centers to analyze operations, costs and/or expenses to support overall decisions regarding margins and other business objectives. Reporting: - Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements - monthly, quarterly and annual. - Working closely with the CEO in preparation of budget forecast, review actuals and execute budgetary controls and prepare monthly budget vs. actual analysis, margins and ROI. - Risk Analysis - Market Trend Reports Business Initiatives: - Set up processes and strategies to have an effective cash flow - Identify operational improvement opportunities and drive implementation. Compliance: - Ensuring compliance to applicable Indian accounting framework and direct/ indirect tax laws including monthly/quarterly/annual filings (TDS, GST, Income tax, Advance tax) - Labour law compliances ( Shops and Establishments, PF, PT, ESI, Gratuity, etc.,) Payroll: - Process Payroll and Reimbursements Purchasing: - Handle Bank accounts and Process Vendor payments Bookkeeping & Accounting: - Setup best practices for bookkeeping & accounting. - Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions - Working on managing bank reconciliation - BRS, Handling Petty cash, and maintaining trackers - Day-to-day accounting, books closure Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly. - Verification of GSTR Input tax credits with GSTR 2A and timely follow-ups with vendors. - Income tax / GST Departmental visits if needed. - Maintain Asset Register What we think you will need to succed: - Degree: CA / ICWA / Post Graduate / MBA Finance - Minimum 3-4 years experience in a finance manager role, bonus if in a consumer electronics company. - Demonstrated experience in Tax/TDS/Tax returns, Auditing, Financial Management & Asset Management. - Must be conversant and experienced in GST regulations. - Experience in Payroll management. - Strong understanding of end-to-end reporting and control processes - Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills - Ability to summarize complex information and deliver it at business executive level - Self-motivated and willing to take initiative; ability to thrive in a changing work environment
