- Responsible for product development to pre-production approval. - Liaising with designers, and adapting designs to suit production methods - Sourcing fabrics and accessories - Sourcing new vendor to obtain competitive pricing across all categories which also includes vendor audit and compliance - Undertaking quality evaluations of materials and checking the quality of the final product - To make sure garments is produced within the budget - Overseeing fabric testing and fittings of first samples - To address issues of fit, construction, pattern and measurement on timely basis to avoid delay in production - Keeping track of sampling status and updating team on regular basis - Closely working with sourcing team for on time delivery and price negotiation whenever required.
