Furtados School of Music - Senior Technical Product Manager - Mobile App Startup

Who are we looking for:

We are seeking are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager who is interested in joining this team to architect and build our front/backend solutions, manage a small team of developers, and work with our CEO on the Product Roadmap.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for setting the product vision and strategy.

2. Build an in-house team to develop support team to manage and support our front end & back end solutions

3. Develop and Manage the Tech Roadmap for a Complete Product Vision, including:

a. Researching on the market, the competitive landscape, internal and external user feedback and presenting product concepts.

b. Responsible for generating developing and curating new ideas and converting the most relevant ideas into features.

c. Ensuring that key feedback and customer requests are seamlessly integrated into product planning and development processes.

d. Working alongside an in-house teamLead a cross functional in house team, to prepare product concepts for engineering and development by documenting key UX/UI and design considerations, and establishing development requirement.

e. Responsible for planning and delivering master releases, managing features and releases with phases and milestones.

f. Improving product performance & customer experience.

- Analysing Google analytics data report (screen visits, click rates, dropout counts)

- Tracking app metrics such as App loading time; transition time;

- Conducting Customer & Teacher interviews

- Conducting A/B testing - building reports & marking improvements for development.

4. To lead - Development Support- teams for Tasks, Bugs, and Small Projects:

a. Test the product, evaluate and prioritize identified tasks and bugs

b. Perform project management work with the dev support teams to prioritize work items to solve for business needs

c. Transforming development support tasks and bugs into full project specifications and requirements and where required work with in-house and external designers and front end developers

d. Ensure best practices in development are implemented; and a process for reviewing code quality is maintained and platform is robust.

5. Get - Tech- in order- : Help answer fundamentals of technology blocks to be used, choice of- certain platform/tech over other, helping team visualize product with the available resources and assets, ensure documentation is developed & maintained.

Requirements:

- Strong product background and eye in the consumer facing UI/UX and in the code created to power these experiences.

- Comfortable up and down the stack; from database architecture to responsive design

- 5 - 10 years experience in product management & related fields.

- Recruited/Managed engineering teams is a strong plus

- Proactive doer and presenter of solutions
