Fund Manager - Fixed Income

Job Description

- Manage fixed income schemes for a mutual fund

- Meet regularly with analysts and researchers to assess the economic fundamentals

- Network with Industry experts

- Develop investment policies and strategies for portfolio management based on investment objectives

- Assess portfolio to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, firm policies and portfolio investment strategies

- Maintain regular contact and ongoing dialogue with clients

- Make sales and marketing presentations to current and prospective clients

- Ensure outperformance of the portfolio and create niche mind space with our clients

- Liaise and call with Sales team and Channel Partners

Technical Skills:

- Building financial & valuation Models, Pricing derivatives, futures and swaps, Generating MIS reports, Excel

- Capital Markets Platforms: Bloomberg, Reuters, Newswire, NDS-OM/PDO, CBLO Dealing, Capitaline, Prowess

- Modeling with graphical charts, Accessing data from Bloomberg & Reuters directly to MS Excel

Work Experience (highlight) :

Work Experience of 8 - 10 years. Should have managed and monitored model portfolios in adherence with the strategic framework to deliver outperformance of returns consistently

Qualifications:

Professionally Qualified and/or Post Graduate qualification specializing in finance. CFA preferred.
