Fund Manager & Accountant Role - Venture Capital & Private Equity Fund

1. Responsible for managing finance and accounts of various Venture Capital and Private Equity Funds and providing portfolio management services to the PE/VC Funds.

2. Fund operations and management-Fund accounting, Fund reporting and Investor MIS, Indian and Cross border compliances for fund management, Investor onboarding and support.

3. Overseeing accounting, taxation and related compliances-Control and review of fund accounts, Overview TDS of Funds and related monthly and quarterly compliances, Ensure timely filing of tax returns and other tax and statutory compliances.

4. Audit-Maintain internal systems and records in preparation of audit, Interaction with auditors for audit process and audit requirements, Co-ordinating with internal and external constituents to ensure timely audit closure.

Operations-Control and support on a day to day fund operations, including investment, transactions and expenses/invoice processing etc., Liasioning with Trustees, Fund administrators and bankers for ensuring smooth, friction-free operations in stipulated timelines, Ensuring timely delivery of unit statements, Form 64s to investors, Providing statements/information to LPs and other constituents on an as-needed basis.

6. Fund compliances-Quarterly reporting to SEBI, Periodic reporting to Trustees, FATCA reporting, K1 reporting, Periodic/ event-based reporting to RBI.

8. Ensure KYC compliance as applicable for fund entities at CKYC and KRA portal.

Candidate Requirement:

- Manager: Chartered Accountant (CA) with PQE of 3-5 years & Executive: B.com Graduates/Inter-CA with 2-4 years.

- Handling fund accounts and operations for Indian funds and is aware of related income tax, SEBI and other regulations, and is able to own end-to-end fund ops and management as the next step

- Knowledge and understanding of the accounting principles, practices, standards and laws & regulations

- Working knowledge of Tally, MS Office etc.
