Functional Lead SAP Sales and Distribution


- Experience within a consumer products company with exposure to SCM, Sales & Marketing Sales /Distributor Management systems, with tangible value realisation along with basic SAP SD knowledge. Domain experience of 3-4 years is needed.


- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills (written and oral) are critical to the role's success.

- Excellent understanding of IT application systems and the infrastructure that enables them. Must possess a good external view of the marketplace to ensure that future strategies are relevant to the business.

Desirable :

- Functional business experience in FMCG organisation / worked as a Senior project expert in Sales & SCM Planning/lead in FMCG/ IT company having ERP as SAP, along with at least 1 S4 HANA upgrade project

- Manages the delivery of business impact assessments, to determine how changes from the current to the future processes and structures will affect sales businesses and roles.

- The Candidate must be able to pilot the SNOP Processes including Demand Planning, Demand Management and Distribution Planning.

- Should be able to design systems using Supply Chain Concepts for building strong systems to meet the companies objective of having an Optimum Demand & Supply Management Solution.

- The candidate should have knowledge of SCM Planning System along with Sales and Distribution Processes.

- Carries out assignments, alone or as part of a team, applying knowledge, skills, and experience. Demonstrates an understanding of the issues of interest to the supporting function and proposes viable solutions within the scope of own expertise, taking into account the needs of those affected.

- Establishes an understanding of the business and its drivers to facilitate development of alternative processes to achieve them for sales.

- Assists the business community in provision of transition support and change planning, and liaises with the project team.

- Partners with the IT Innovation and IT Services teams to deliver sales IT projects and initiatives, taking ownership for driving the local activation components of the projects, ensuring that the business user resources participate at appropriate phases of the project.

- Works with those delivering the IT service (including suppliers where appropriate) to ensure quality service is delivered cost effectively.

- Monitor the IT opened cases and work together with services team to solve them in accordance with the SLA agreed.

- Understand the impacts of the most significant IT events occurred such as failures and work close to the business to keep the business continuity
