Oracle- Functional Consultant

Role Description :

Thecandidate shall be playing techno-functional consulting roles with clients in Retail industry. Main responsibilities involve developingsystem solution architecture, developing functional design, managing functional testing and executing value realization. He/she shall require

- Techno functional experience on implementation of two or more following modules in RPAS

a) RDF (Retek Demand Forecasting)

b) AIP (Advanced Inventory Planning)

c) MFP (Merchandise Financial Planning)

The detailed responsibilities of a Functional Consultant are :

- Perform detailed analysis of Business Processes &Requirements and developing a functional design

- Collaborate with client team, business process architect and delivery team to drive solution architecture and ensure scalability, optimization and automation

- Creating roadmaps that define the migration from the current state to the future state

- Design configurations and customizations of solutions

- Identify data for value realization, perform data analysis and develop business case

- Guide Change Management teams for planning transformation

Candidate Requirements :

- Proven experience with at least two implementation experience as functional consultant during plan/analyze and design phases of implementation

- Evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating packaged solutions into a client system landscape and solution

- Functional knowledge and experience of forecasting, inventory planning/replenishment AND/OR merchandise financial planning AND/OR category management

- Preparation of business scenarios, test cases, use cases & UAT scenarios

- Guiding distributed delivery teams to help understand and clarify requirements throughout all phases of the implementation project

- Supporting trouble shooting during development / deployment and recommending solutions

- Ability to advise clients on business issues and build credibility to gain buy-in for solutions.

- Ability to interact with many levels of Accenture management, client organization and solution alliance partners - from senior IT and business leaders to engineers on project teams

- Holistic understanding of target industriesand experience implementing best practices

- Excellent presentation and business proposal development skills

- Inter-personal skills, Team and Project Management skills

- Ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines

- Relevant experience in and / or certification from product vendors

- Willingness to travel as per project requirements.

- Possessing valid work visas for target geographies will be an additional advantage

Minimum Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's Degree from a reputed institution (Engineering or IT domain)

- Business Management Degree from a reputed institution or Masters Qualification in Management of Information Systems - strongly preferred

Years of Experience :

- 3 to 12 years of relevant work experience in Consulting, or IT system implementation industry

Location : Bangalore, Mumbai, Gurgaon
