Job Description:


Responsibilities:


Government Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies projects (live and to be live), PWD, NHAI, CPWD, NBCC, Railways, RIITES, Metro, MCD etc.


Compliance: Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, policies, and permits related to the Steel TMT industry. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and coordinate necessary permits, licenses, and certifications.


Relationship Management: Establish and nurture positive relationships with industry associations, trade bodies, suppliers, and customers to promote collaboration, resolve issues, and explore business opportunities.


Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and submit required documentation, reports, and applications to government agencies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.


Policy Advocacy: Monitor changes in government policies and regulations affecting the Steel TMT industry. Analyze potential impacts and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders.


Issue Resolution: Identify and address any operational or regulatory issues that may arise, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to find timely and effective solutions.


Negotiations: Represent the company in negotiations with government bodies, suppliers, and other external entities, ensuring favorable outcomes for the organization.


Sales: To drive sales to the projects in the assigned area.


Public Relations: Coordinate public relations activities to enhance the organization's image and reputation in the Steel TMT industry.


Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations. Keep track of tendors in the respective area including Govt. and Private sectors.


Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, such as legal, operations, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of company objectives.


Requirements:


Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate degree.


Experience: experience in liaisoning or government relations, preferably within the Steel TMT industry or a related field.


Knowledge: In-depth understanding of government regulations, policies, and procedures related to the Steel TMT industry. Familiarity with relevant industry associations and stakeholders.


Organization and Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.


Ethical Conduct: Demonstrated integrity and adherence to ethical standards while dealing with confidential information and sensitive matters.


Flexibility: Willingness to travel, as required, to engage with stakeholders and attend meetings or conferences.
