Job Description : - Front office - You will work exclusively for a major bank or fund, publishing reports on European/US companies, for traders and clients to use in global bond markets. You will provide support for senior analysts and traders in London/NY as well as giving investment recommendations. Timings will likely be relevant market hours. - Risk management - counterparty credit risk - This involves work on a specific portfolio of companies under coverage, on whom regular reports will need to be maintained in a specific format. This work will typically be for asset management companies or banks. The role will involve making fundamental company assessments. Timings are flexible. - All roles will see initial and on-going appropriate training, primarily provided by ex-City and Wall Street analysts. This will enable contextual awareness to understand the big picture and communicate with global capital market clients. - Reflecting the global capital markets, we are a flat organization with few managers. Staff are proactive. Progression is typically in the sector of expertise, as is the case in research roles globally.
