Position Description: Finance Analyst â€“ (Finance accounting) LOCATION Bangalore, India Summary of Responsibilities This position shall be part of the accounting, reporting and treasury (controllership) function of the company. He/she will work towards ensuring that we have a seamless month-end close process and support other business functions with timely information sharing. This role would also require working knowledge of banking and treasury. Knowledge &amp;amp; Skills Required Major work responsibilities shall comprise of the below: ï‚· Supervise the accounting for business transactions, ï‚· Focus on Inventory valuation, Seller Reimbursements, other critical business processes ï‚· Actively work in formulating accounting policies and guidelines for all critical business processes, ï‚· Ensure adherence to companyâ€™s accounting policy and guidelines, ï‚· Ensure accurate and timely month-end close, ï‚· Support in preparation of management P&amp;amp;L, respond to business queries, ï‚· Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure resolution of the reconciling items, ï‚· Preparation of audit schedules and handling audit requirements, ï‚· Partner with the global accounting teams and timely sharing of the MIS, ï‚· Work on automation of various processes and support various projects and initiatives. ï‚· Cash flow planning and optimizing loan and surplus cash ï‚· Understanding of Letter of Credit, Stand by Letter of Credit and Bank Guarantees ï‚· Knowledge of banking and RBI regulations PREFERRED QUALIFICATION ï‚· CA with 2-3 years of experience . ï‚· Should have strong excel skills and ability to handle volumes, ï‚· Oracle ERP knowledge preferable, ï‚· Good communication skills and ability to multi-task and deal with ambiguity Appario is an equal opportunities employer.
