About the role :

Freshworks is looking to hire a smart Product Manager who is excited about taking up ideas and bringing them to life. Ideal candidates will engage with our global customer base directly, and decide the future of the product by working closely with our design and engineering teams. You will also collaborate with marketing, sales and support to ensure that word gets out to people and they get to see what you are building.

We want somebody who can identify opportunities every day, get valuable insights back to the table, and be the decision maker to help go to market fast.

Requirements:

- 2+ years experience in Product Management Role (Prior experience as Mobile PM or Mobile Developer preferred).

- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

- Experience with leading product departments ( vision and KPIs/objectives setting, ideation and implementation process, team alignment with business goals).

- A problem solver, who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty to lead the team to success.

- Self- motivated and results- driven with a go- getter attitude to manage the full development cycle of a product.

- Agile and innovative with the tenacity to thrive in a constantly changing environment.

- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations.

- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies & native mobile apps (iOS & Android).

- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

- Help in defining a product vision and strategy.

- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.

- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.

- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.

- Take overall responsibility for the success of your product.

- Meet regularly with all stakeholders, including product developers, marketing, customer support, pre sales & sales.

- Collect, analyse and respond to user feedback.

- Gather and evaluate ideas and opinions.

- Plan new features and changes to a product.

- Demonstrate new ideas and features to stakeholders.

- Create timelines and roadmaps for developing the product.

- Implement or support marketing campaigns.

- Stay on top of the market and competitors.
