Freight Systems - Head - Inside Sales (8-15 yrs)

We have a mandate to recruit for a boutique Freight forwarding firm with major presence in Asia and ME.

The incumbent will be responsible to set up the inside sales team from scratch with mandate to expand it to different geographies. This team will be responsible to connect with customers virtually and convert the leads to actual business outcomes

As Inside Sales Center Operations Manager, you will directly oversee sales personnel to ensure high service levels and effective daily sales call operations. You will serve our national and international customers through the development and implementation of best cell center methods and procedures. As IS Center Operations Manager your primary responsibility would be to close the given leads with the highest conversion. You will work closely with Pre-Sales, Sales & CS teams to develop new accounts and keep growing the existing business to rapidly increase the volume and improve the quality of new business for our company. You will also be tasked to make suggestions for system and process improvement using your knowledge of daily and ground operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop new business for the organization through approaching new business customers, as defined in the local sales KPIs

2. Develop a new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is planned

3. Monitoring individual & team performance against goals. Regularly connect with the team to review new opportunities and acquisitions target for the team for their respective assigned territories

4. Responsible for creating sales goals to aid in achieving targets

5. Monitor call metrics; track effectiveness in call time, quality and customer experience

6. Handling escalations from customers and different departments. Taking timely and corrective measures to ensure that the brand image is maintained

7. Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers and carriers

8. Keep a track of existing accounts daily to retain and avoid any goodwill damage in existing relationships. Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new services

9. Undertake cross-selling and up-selling within the existing customer base to further develop account potential

10. Responsible for supervising shipments until delivery completed to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction

11. Manage and coordinate all commercial activities of a defined vertical group of customers with the customer service team, in line with the company's short and long-term results & targets.

12. Carry out research to identify companies not currently doing business with the organization

13. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and publish various reports to stakeholders

14. Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.

15. Follow up on the collections

Requirements :

1. MBA with at least 10+ years of Sales experience.

2. Good Team Handling skills with minimum team of 25+

3. Experience of managing teams of Inside Sales / virtual sales / tele sales is mandatory

4. Must be good in MS Excel and Word.

5. Good Communication skills.

6. Should be from B2B Background

7. Should have major part of experience in service sales
