Do You Make The Cut? We are seeking a Manager for our Legal Department who will be responsible for ensuring contracts compliance, governance, and execution of all our contracts. This individual will work with cross functional teams and will have a key role in the timely processing and administration of a wide variety of business contracts ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks for the Company. Title: Deputy Manager, Legal Location: Gurugram Experience: 4-6 Yrs. Education: Law graduate or postgraduate from a reputed law school Responsibilities :&nbsp; Legal Risk Management: - Evaluate the impact of all major changes in the law and assesses the impact on the policies and operating procedures - Review and provide legal advice on product notes, process notes, operation flows. - Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken. - Provide legal protection and risk management advice, especially on contracts. Contract Management: - Draft and update templates for the new and existing business models, products &amp; services. - Drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution of contracts of various types to assist and support various business activities. - Providing legal support to the business. - Negotiate, review and draft documentation for business transactions. - Provide regular reviews and updates on the status of ongoing contracts. - Close working cross functional team for timely completion of contract. - Flagging and highlighting the contractual or legal risks involved in contracts under discussion. - Providing Contract Management support. Focus areas of responsibility - % of time spent: - Legal advisory- 20% - Contracts management (Contract Drafting, vetting, negotiations and interaction with internal stakeholders) - 80% Sounds Like You? - Three to five years experience ideally in the legal department of a leading organisation in Banking, Insurance, Financial services, e-payments, with a proven track record in regulatory compliance, contract drafting &amp; negotiation - Proven track record of adding value to an organisation through the development of comprehensive business contracts that mitigate monetary and non-monetary risks - Good drafting skills with previous experience of drafting different types contracts - Strong fundamentals and understanding of Contracts, Statutory Requirement applicable to Contracts. - A Self Starter with ability to work with minimum supervision in a team environment - Strong analysis and interpretations skills - Good presentation &amp; influencing skills Life at Freecharge!
