Role Brief : The Senior Consultant will play a vital role in leading and managing consulting and analytics engagements and teams. The incumbent will be expected to solve business problems, develop analytical solutions, prioritise objectives, assign tasks to project team members to achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction and targeted financial results. The incumbent needs to have proven ability to multi-task and manage time and resources while having a good understanding of the internal workings of the projects Brief about the Team & Fractal : Fractal Analytics is Leading Fortune 500 companies leverage Big Data, analytics and technology to drive smarter, faster and more accurate decisions in every aspect of their business. Key competencies : - 6-8 years relevant experience in analytics preferably in CPG / FMCG / Retail / Consumer Product analytics - Expertise in business consulting with an emphasis on Business Insights and solution - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple types of data - Awareness of CPG industry data sets - syndicated sources, any custom research studies, etc would be a plus - Technical expertise in leveraging technologies and programming languages such as HTML, Javascript, CSS, Node.js, Python and Iron Python. - Good knowledge of databases like SQL Server, Oracle with ability to develop and recommend appropriate technical architecture for custom BI solutions - Technical mastery in BI platforms such as Spotfire, Tableau, QlikView or other visualization / Analytics Tools - Good logical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication Job Responsibilities : - Proven track record to deliver Analytics engagements with at least 4 years of working experience - Ability to independently manage analytics engagements from start to finish, delivering actionable insight within established timelines and budget. Experience working in a consultative capacity (internal or external) is a strong plus - Knowledge of advanced analytics including but not limited to Regression, GLMs, survival modeling, forecasting, machine learning, decision trees etc. using statistical or analytic tools like SAS, R etc. - Knowledge of advanced visualization platforms like Qlikview, Tableau, Spotfire etc. - Demonstrated ability in driving business impact through the application of data science and analytical techniques. Understanding and leveraging the connection between data structures, analytical methods, and business applications. - Strong analytical thinking skills. Ability to creatively solve business problems, innovating new approaches where required. - Good verbal and written communication skills & must have excellent project management skills and have experience managing multiple work streams and projects at one time - Building and, when necessary, rebuilding -- and leading high performance teams. Proven track record of identifying and developing analytical talent and leading a team of quantitative personnel. Must have curiosity and love to ask the question 'why' - The incumbent should be open to travel to client locations across multiple geographies for short durations depending on the engagement The Person : Experience: Analytics : SAS/R / Python; R preferred, Visualization tools - Qlikview, Tableau, Spotfire etc. - 5 years experience in the Analytics sector - Experience in CPG domain Education : Any
