Founding Team Member - Generalist - Startup

Overview:

The role is a very pivotal role in the firm wherein the individual will be part of the founding team and also would be working closely with the founder/s and the tech team to implement the vision of the business/firm

Skills Needed:

1) Excellent number crunching / mathematical skills

2) High Proficiency with Excel VBA

3) Understanding of some coding language would be of great help

4) Basic Understanding of financial markets would be beneficial

5) Passionate about numbers and financial markets as the nature of work is very intensive and required immense iterations

Responsibilities :

1) Primary responsibility of the individual would be to understand the nature of the product and create exhaustive algorithms that the product will run upon

2) The role would entail also coordinating between the business team ( founders and himself) and the tech team to implement and code the algos into web/mobile apps

3) Exhaustive iterations on algos to arrive at the desired output is required

4) Hiring team member (s) as and when needed and training them as well

5) Would be required also to constantly learn and help evolve the platform in all ways possible

Additional Notes:

The firm is willing to handover equity in addition to the usual compensation to the individual. However being a very critical role in the institution it would require immense hard work / passion along with total honesty and transparency.
