Formulation Scientist - FMCG (8-15 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

The Formulation Scientist will be responsible for global pre-formulations, prototyping, and product development with existing and new Bio-ingredients along with enzymes. The formulation development will involve end-to-end development via interfaces from academia to industry, lab to pilot plant formulations, product analytics vs competition, functional, and stable performance and consumer-relevant sensorial attributes.

Job Requirement:

- M.Sc/M.Tech or Ph.D in any branch of Biological Sciences/Chemical Sciences/Chemical Engineering with 8 or more years experience in Household care/Home care-related FMCG company

- Extensive experience in formulation and process development of detergent powders, bars and soaps from lab to pilot scale

- Develop and apply ingredient, formulation and process understanding governing detergent systems

- Curious, self-driven and a strong team player networking both within and outside the department

- Be inspired by developments both internally and externally and create strong opportunity pipeline and IP

- Strong experimental skills, with a talent to apply scientific findings to solve practical problems

- Ability to independently lead technical projects and inspire and train junior colleagues in the team

- Excellent interpersonal, project management, written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
