The Head of Inside Sales will be responsible for driving sales efforts for long tail restaurant accounts including and not limited to: improving productivity, promoting industry best practices, driving order growth, and managing a growing team of Inside Sales Reps, with the objective of growing the sales of restaurants so that some of them can progressively grow into Key accounts.
Focus areas include: sales execution, sales model productivity, training of sales personnel and sales performance analysis. The Head of Inside Sales will be hands-on providing mentorship and development to the inside sales team
- Directly supervises employees in the Inside Sales team. Will have 5-6 Direct Reports and an overall team size of 50 people
- Works with sales Leadership to implement a rigorous sales rep training program that establishes rules of engagement, scripts, communication protocols, and closing tools
- Effectively guide sales team in use of Salesforce (or other CRM) system while creating metrics to improve sales and operational performance- Meet or exceed sales goals and revenue objectives for each of the focus categories
- Allocate accounts among sales reps, and define targets for the sales reps, by desegregating the sales target for the BU.
- Own the Governance and review of sales metrics for all long tail accounts
- Communicating need for and ensuring smooth hiring and training to meet manpower requirement in the sales and operations team
- To manage customers (demand) and driver partner (supply side) and improve the retention among the existing users of the platform
- Work with the tech-product team to facilitate alignment and adoption of tech products with Restaurant Partners
Key Skills & Experience:
- 6 - 9 years- experience in B2B inside sales in customer internet / enterprise software / Services space with extensive account management experience deepening relationships and expanding sales in B2B contexts
- Passionate about growing and building a business to its full potential
- A successful track record of milestone achievement, operational excellence and strong cross-functional skills
- MBA from top colleges desired
