Food Safety Specialist - FMCG Manufacturing (10-20 yrs)
Job Description:
- Conduct integrated food safety audits where required in accordance with ISO 22000 and/or other standards (e.g. in accordance with Food Safety Standard Act 2006, Legal Metrology, HACCP or any other suitable standard which may improve organization's performance of compliance and statutory requirements)
- Review and analyse the organization's food manufacturing, handling, storage, and transportation processes, to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Train people on the food safety management best practices and develop company guidelines to ensure that the desired standards are achieved.
- Providing concise technical reports to the senior management covering all the aspects of food safety.
- Solution based approach that can be integrated with the business processes
Candidate Specification:
- A masters of science degree in food science or a related discipline is required. 10+ years of experience in food processing industry with thorough domain knowledge in the area of food safety.
- Candidate must have current certification as an ISO 22000 food safety auditor. Should have participated in 10 or more complete food safety audits, serving as lead auditor on at least two of those occasions.
