Mineral Processing Manager

Accountable for:

- Successful operation of the Beneficiation Plant to achieve planned quality and quantity.

- Tailing Management and its disposal plan

- Ensuring compliances related to Safety & Environmental laws.

- To implement high standard of performance and Safety

Core job Responsibility/Functions:

- Manage all mineral processing activities and related Beneficiation plant activities (operations, maintenance, metallurgy and laboratory), while valuing the corporate objectives, values and mission of the company.

- Ensuring production, recovery, maintenance and cost objectives with strict observance of environmental, health and safety (EHS) rules.

- Efforts to achieve continual improvement in Beneficiation Plant operations.

- Work closely with all mine services including mining operations, mining engineering and Geology.

- Develop MIS and provide analyse reports on production and costs, recovery and consumption of raw materials.

- Assess employees, help them develop their abilities and identify those with high potential.

Mandatory Key skills:

- In depth knowledge of mineral beneficiation process of iron ore including crushing, grinding, MIMS, HIMS, Hydro cyclone, Classifiers, Thickener, etc., and tailings management facilities.

- Computer efficiency

- Preparation of Plant performance reports & equipment preventive schedule.

- In depth Knowledge of mineralogy
