Objectives of the Role :

- Preparation of the annual Budget and comparing the actual performance with the budget and analysing the variance.

- Preparation of monthly MIS.

- Preparing of accounts for the annual statutory audit including consolidation of accounts, fixed assets capitalisation, audit entries, tax calculations, depreciation working etc.

- Preparation of financial statements for annual board meeting along with audit workings/supporting as per the audit check list

- Ledger scrutiny and trial balance scrutiny on periodical basis for the purpose of reconciliations for annual audit.

- Reviewing the bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses statements, provision for expenses.

- Checking all vendor's bills, Capex, PIP bills in terms of statutory compliances and as per the terms of the vendor agreements.

- Updating Fixed Assets register incorporating the purchases & discards and updating depreciation schedule on regular basis.

- Coordination with the Internal Auditor.

- Verifying and filing monthly GST returns i.e. GSTR1 and GSTR3B.

- Verifying and filing of quarterly TDS returns and filing of the same.

- Reconciling GST returns with that of books of accounts on regular basis and also tracking of vendor payments as GST input reversal to be done in case of delay in payments more than 180 days.

- Reconciliation of GST input claimed on all vendor bills with GSTR2A available in GST online portal and following up with vendors in case of non-filing/non updation by vendors.

- Filing of Annual GSTR9 and GSTR9C returns with revenue and input reconciliations with books of accounts with monthly GSTR3B returns and also considering the GST input reversals of input claimed on common services.

- Providing all statistical/statutory data for secretarial audit and also for annual report.

- Reconciliation of TDS receivable (i.e. TDS deducted by the corporate customers) with 26AS statement.

- Preparing workings, statements and reconciliation statements for yearly tax audit and clarifying audit queries pertaining to the same.

- Preparing and filing of yearly income tax return of the company after accepting the tax audit report uploaded by the auditors.

- Compiling data for Income Tax assessments and replying to notices after getting it vetted by HOF and auditors.

- Coordination with the operations team with regard to statutory compliances, finalisation of accounts and month end activities.
