As a category manager, you have end-to-end responsibility for the customer experience and growth of the category they have been assigned to. The successful candidate will be the business owner, with responsibility for signing the right mix of selection in partnership with sellers, adding unique selection, driving traffic conversion and margin improvements while delivering a top-notch customer experience Role requirements : Growth : Own the P&L and drive growth of categories, keeping in mind the consumer. Responsible for revenue targets, gross margins and be responsible for merchandising, assortment planning Selection/Assortment : Build and manage assortment based on consumer needs and ensuring immaculate execution Strategy : Identify and onboard the strategic key brands/accounts for the category basis business category fitment Marketing : Collaborate with the marketing team for the creation of a marketing calendar for the category and execution of the same Insights : Monitoring and analyzing key market dynamics as the source of new insights, competitive strategies and effective brand management Qualifications : - 5+ years experience in FMCG, Beauty, Wellness, Nutrition. Experience with premium brands is a plus. - Significant experience in Retail (Modern Trade / B2B / eComm) or FMCG businesses with focus on deep domain expertise in Buying/Sourcing - Have prior experience or knowledge and confidence to mentor/supervise merchandising operations - including the management of cataloging and discount monitoring - Strong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed - Seeking high ownership, independent environments and feedback oriented cultures What's in it for you : - Be part of 0 to 1 journey.
