Job Title : Senior Manager/Associate Vice President

Work Location : Mumbai/Western India

Job Description:

- Identify target markets based on corporate vision, conduct research and analyze the markets, perform market segmentation, competitive positioning and understand the trends and customer pain points in each segment

- Align companies products and solutions to identified market segments and addressable pain points; work with solutioning teams to stitch-up winning solutions with reputed partners

- Proactive lead generation through marketing efforts and event participation. (will require travel to clients on short notice).

- Make cold calls and reach out to Senior officials and Consultants to seek an appointment for self for team. Keep the dialogues alive with continual client engagement

- Identification of key executive decision makers, establishment of strong relationships with each, the identification of opportunities across the Smart City portfolio and overlooking pricing and contracting of proposals

- Help prepare and maintain marketing sales collaterals

- Identifying and generating new leads and closed opportunities through a deeper and broader engagement with assigned clients

- Maintaining a pipeline of qualified, active opportunities and managing them to closure working alongside presales, product and solution teams

- Sell Fluentgrid products and solutions to designated and segmented markets (Examples of companies include software and/or hardware and /or Infrastructure vendors and solution delivery (SI / MSI) partners, MoUD, Commissioners, Chief Secretaries and Chief Administrators of the 100 Smart Cities, Large Real-Estate Organizations active in Smart City Development, etc.)

- Tight management of pipeline for closure of committed opportunities in targeted timeframes

- Develop, document and gain agreement on the Domestic / global account sales strategy and account management plan in alignment with internal stakeholders

- Assist in formulation, development and implementation of revenue generating strategies and policies for continued growth and success of the Smart Cities Vertical

- Responsible for GTM partnerships include defining metrics, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing reviews with C level Executives

- Take input from the Business Segment Leaders and Geo Leaders, and key Global Account Customers to develop new partner program strategies, and metrics for success that are aligned to the company's business priorities worldwide considering the Domestic /Geo uniqueness associated with a strong and supported GTM

- Provide thought leadership to drive product development and execution plans that cover tactical product as well as solution launches as well as span beyond to areas such as global campaigns

- Achieve robust executive engagement with / Domestic / global partners and Geographic channel leadership and others within the partner sales organizations

- Other key responsibilities in alignment with Organizational Strategic Objectives and Goals that will be updated from time to time

- Directly accountable/responsible for successful sales in the assigned geographies.

- Day-to-day responsibility for all financial and operational account management activities, including: pipeline management, revenue forecasts, proposal and contractual management, and contract quality assurance and compliance.

- From a Go-To-Market perspective, the Business Analyst will be involved with business development with the broader business development and sales team, proposal writing, negotiations, deal closure and key account management for cross-selling and upselling.

- The sales professional will engage the appropriate Business Development team and Fluentgrid SME's to differentiate Fluentgrid in the sales process.

- Presentation/Marketing Skills, Teamwork, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Expense Account Management, and Excellent Computer Skills are some of the additional skills considered important.

- Represent Fluentgrid at various industry events and retailer associations.

- Extensive travel required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- At least 10 years of experience in Sales, Solutioning, consultative selling, business development, sales or marketing of IT products and services in the Energy & Utility Industry.

- Good to have: At least 5 years of experience with client interaction, relationship building including experience working with client Key Decision Makers and Management.

Education: BE/Btech/ME/Mtech,MBA

Experience Required: 10-15 Years

Required Skills:

- Good communication skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) with special focus on client centric technical presentations with commercial acumen

- Basic knowledge on tendering process and bid management and response (Preferred)

- Work methodically in tight schedules.
