Flipspaces - Training & Development Manager (8-12 yrs)

Job Summary:

The Training and Development Manager is responsible for improving the productivity of the organization's employees. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives, identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Identify, assess future / current training needs through various analysis and consultation with Sales Team Management.

- Maintain, enhance training and development plans that address the needs and expectations of leadership

- Implement wide variety of training methods, conduct effective induction and orientation sessions to the different business units; Sales, Account Management, Client Engagement, Fulfillment, and others

- Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events

- Monitor and evaluate our training programs effectiveness, ROI, and Success by generating periodic reports

- Manage the training team's cost and effectiveness, provide opportunities for ongoing development of the team for growth and leadership.

- Provide solutions and resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs, as necessary

- Maintain training trends, offer strategic guidance, and demonstrate best practices on learning and development

- Identify & implement strategies to reduce time-to-productivity for new hires.

- Administers spending against the departmental budget

- Develops and maintains organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources

- Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.

- Work effectively with cross functional members

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong presentation skills.

- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.

- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.

- Ability to design and implement effective training and development.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree from Tier 1/2 college

- 8+ years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs.

- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred.
