Sr. Specialist - E2E Design

Job Description

- To guide and lead the end to end Supply Chain Design, Planning, Product, Business, Finance, Engineering and Project Execution teams comprising of Functional experts from FC, MH, Transportation and City Logistics by analyzing and developing innovative supply chain solutions and standardized operating process to achieve consistent business results.

Responsibilities: 

- Own key end to end metrics like Reliability, RTO and associated Costs and design scalable processes / solutions to improve the metrics

- Align solutions across stakeholders and build business cases to take concept to implementation.

- Establish systems and define KPIs to monitor the performance of processes

- Work closely with Asset teams and Product team to align Process design with Product design

- Assess current forward fulfilment process and reverse processes across the supply chain to drive standardization and solution for key problem statements

- Drive timely and focused Lean and Six Sigma projects resulting in measurable business improvements, efficiency and scalability of supply chain

People : 

- Effectively collaborates cross-functionally with assigned functional members and peers

- Encourages people to expose problems and stays with them to implement true solutions

- Uses continuous coaching and dialogue to empower people to solve their own problems

- Supports organizational learning

- Works with teams to create and deliver value at the lowest possible total cost

- Creates flow through assigned value stream via cross-functional collaboration

- Develops a problem-solving culture where problems are made visible and fixed at the root cause

Process: 

- Works continuously at Gemba / the work site to understand and solve problems where they live, with the people who live with the problems every day

- Understands the As-Is & can think of suitable To-Be process. Not to be complacent with the current process

- Practices and teaches fundamental problem solving (PDCA) to find problems, define them, fix them and keep them from coming back

- Supports and leverages process for sharing best practices

Competencies: 

Design Thinking: Understands processes and data deeply and leverage design choices to explore possible outcomes and to achieve the desired outcome to benefit the organization.

Bias for Action: Can work in an ambiguous environment where data may not be available. Persists to complete tasks/responsibilities, even in the face of difficulties, is optimistic and tenacious all through.

Analysis & Decision Making: Understands financial implications for the design choices and able to use that for making decisions. Makes timely, informed decisions that take into account the facts, goals, constraints, and risks.

Process/Project Management: Understands specific processes and principles to initiate, plan, execute and manage the way that new initiatives or changes are implemented within an organization with guardrails of Time, Cost, Scope & Quality of the output.

Team Work & Leadership: Can work collaboratively with a variety of teams, create transparency and able to inspire others to work toward common goals by engaging and empowering them to achieve personal, team and organizational goals.

Qualification: 

- Minimum 5-7 years of work experience and proven track record of stakeholder management and program management

- Exposure to Business Process Re-engineering, Lean/6 Sigma etc. will be added bonus

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain from Tier-A institutes; or Significant Supply Chain experience thereof

- A Master's Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration is preferred.
