Job Description:
- Providing leadership and direction to the design/operations team by stating clear expectations regarding business goals, priorities and risks while gaining team commitment to the achievement of the required results.
- Ideation, execution, coaching and mentoring the direct reports to drive supply chain improvements and re-design supply chain in line with business objectives.
- Ability to promote a culture of innovation and continuously stretching the boundaries of process excellence
- Bring in expertise insights of best practices followed in the Last Mile ecosystem by other players and adapt or implement them
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the business/operations together with knowledge of the business environment and process excellence concepts, methodologies and tools.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the business/operations working with external bodies: product, tech, ops, legal, infra to influence decisions. Provided performance-focused leadership.
- Develop product and customer-specific operating plans to meet the market demands while having a keen focus on customer requirements
- Build solutions to meet the hiring needs; identify and work with top performers for talent development and create a leadership pipeline for own level
- Develops a problem-solving culture where problems are made visible and fixed at the root cause
- Engages in relentless pursuit of continuous improvement to create best-in-class supply chain asset
Key Accountabilities:

- Develop first in class Last mile network to make Flipkart as first choice for customers and efficient supply chain for the organization
- Successfully lead the team to achieve the organizational goals

- Build a safe Last Mile network for the products and customer by developing a leak proof or tight supply chain
Education/Experience:
- Post Graduate from Tier I: Preferable in Supply Chain management
- Process design, re-engineering related, Supply chain logistics work experience in Supply Chain (at least 8 to 10 years) - Must Have
- Well versed with the processes being followed in supply chain logistics - Must Have
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the Last Mile and First Mile processes, operations and solutions Good to Have
- Capable of driving product and technology teams for building a sustainable and robust logistics processes
- Process design and re-engineering tools and techniques
- Lean and six sigma black belt
- Possess problem-solving and program/project management skills
- Comfort in working in unstructured environments and fast timelines
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
