About the team :

- Motherhub acts as an aggregation and sortation centre for moving shipments from Fulfillment centres and Seller clusters to Delivery hubs across the network.

- Economies of Scale: - MH supports FC's for efficient order fulfillment. - MH enables optimized utilization of transportation capacity. MH sorts at delivery hub level to improve Last Mile productivity.

- Differentiate Service and Speed - Scale can be leveraged to remove speed constraints. Sortation based on product characteristics, category/customer preference and network ask.

About the Role:

The position is responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement tools to optimize MH operations

What you'll do:

- Analyse large amounts of data, discover and solve real world problems, and build metrics and business cases around Flipkart's MotherHub operation.

- Retrieve and aggregate data from multiple sources and compile into a digestible and actionable format

- Monitor existent metrics, analyse data and partner with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.

- Design and develop scalable and automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.

- Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.

- Drive small to medium size projects.

- Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation.

- Collect data and perform statistical analysis

- Map and document processes

- Participate in continuous improvement projects works with other team members to develop alternative solutions

What you'll need:

- MBA/BE from Tier 1Institutes.

- 2+ years of Logistics/Supply Chain or Operations profile.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

- Similarity with Logistics concepts - forecasting, planning, optimization, and logistics - gained through work experience or graduate level education.
