About the role:

- This role manages all field work related to both membership and marketing (including field work related to ecomm marketing.) This role ensures that actions related to membership & marketing translate to onground execution.

- You will be part of the "M4" team (marketing, membership, merchandizing and monetization", under the Membership vertical, and report into the Head-Membership. This role is operational & does not have any direct reports.

- You would own KPIs around 'Monthly Active Customers' for your region (Central and West).

- You would facilitate this number by working closely with stores and on ground 3rd party teams to ensure that enough new members are onboarded onto FKWS each month, and also ensuring renewals of members whose memberships have lapsed.

- You would also be responsible for managing actions related to membership at stores, including ensuring process compliance, and audits. You would work closely with store teams to implement this.

About the team :

- The "M4" (Marketing, Membership, Merchandizing and Monetization) team is a key vertical within Flipkart Wholesale. We champion the member, and ensure that he is informed, and convinced of our unique value proposition aimed at ensuring success for small businesses. This leads to the member purchasing with us regularly and consistently.

- The Membership team manages membership operations across all 29 existing BestPrice Stores and 2 fulfillment centers, responsible for managing 1.4 million registered members. Given the aggressive ambitions for Flipkart Wholesale, we aim to onboard new members at a very rapid pace, and continually engage them for purchases with us-and the membership team will be at the center of these efforts.

What you'll do:

Membership Related :

- Own all membership related KPIs for the region (Central and West) including Monthly active customers (MAC) as well as 4Rs (Recruitment - i.e. onboarding new members, renewal, reactivation and retention)

- Manage all operations of membership field teams across MP, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra - including both inhouse team and 3rd party team.

- Geography would cover all field Operations- both in existing FKWS locations (Indore, Bhopal, Raipur, kota, Aurangabad and Amravati) as well as in newer locations which will be launched.

- Supervise membership operations in existing FKWS stores- including operations of the membership teams- related to membership process compliance. Drive achievement of targets related to onboarding of new members/renewal of lapsed members through store teams, at the store.

- Work closely with other cross functional teams at the region (store teams, sales teams) to drive membership objectives.

- SPOC for all communications to the members in the region (telecalling, SMS, IVR etc.).

- Evangelize ecomm adoption among member base in the region.

- New market activation: For all new geography launches - to manage fieldwork at all new locations and ensure that enough new members are onboarded prior to launch (new membership drive)

Marketing Related :

- Manage all Marketing related activities for the region- including execution of outdoor visibility, leaflets, newspaper inserts, instore execution of banners/dropdowns/standees etc, instore promotions.

- Identifying, and managing vendors to execute the above activities at FKWS stores and new locations.

- Marketing drives and new location activation for upcoming new locations of FKWS.

- Tracking and reporting of competition activity, market situations and providing insights.

What you'll need:

- 3-6 years experience in Market operations (store operations, Sales, distribution, field marketing) with Premium/Tier-1 BSchool MBA - else 5+ years solid workex.

- Retail, FMCG sales or eCommerce background

- Aggressive and go-getter attitude

- Looking for someone based in/relocate to Madhya Pradesh state.to manage operations in existing FKWS stores in Indore, Bhopal, Raipur, Kota, Aurangabad and Amravati.

- Proven track record in delivering results under conditions of ambiguity, and continually changing market conditions- under pressure and demanding timelines, without impact on accuracy.

- Extremely Sharp Attention to detail

- Must be highly number oriented with an analytical mindset.

- Must have high bias for action and sense of urgency

- Collaborative, with experience of working in a cross-functional team environment with multiple internal & external teams

- Undergrad degree + MBA mandatory. Premier/Tier-1 school MBA is a BIG PLUS.
