Flipkart - Manager - Marketing Communications (7-9 yrs)
We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Marketing Communications professional to lead our marketing communications team. Demonstrable expertise in understanding & building brand strategy, communication strategy, media strategy, creative design The team comprises of 3 verticals:
Creative, Social, Media.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing Communication:
Creative execution across all owned & paid platforms. Exposure in handling a new brand launch (preferred but not mandatory)
- ATL: Work on creative and media spends on TV, Print, OOH. Should have worked on noteworthy campaigns in ATL and buzz marketing.Significant exposure to ATL (TV, Print, OOH)
- Digital: Work on creative and media spends on Video, Social, display
- Campaign Management:
360 campaign planning, optimizing, reporting
- Integrated marketing - Cross channel campaign management
Campaign analytics and reporting
Responsible for all brand content
- Participate in internal meetings to understand business requirements and advise with workable solutions while challenging status quo
- Give a structured, documented brief to our creative agencies for each campaign / creative requirement & lead the interaction with them till final delivery
- Responsible for adherence to campaign execution timelines, work allocation & prioritization for the team & agencies
- Agency management - Manage all aspects of our creative agency relationship
- Responsible for adherence to brand guidelines and update / educate the marketing team on regular intervals
- Execute a campaign from start to finish (brief, research, creative, media, business outcomes, analysis & reporting)
Qualifications and Experience
- 7 to 8 years of relevant multi-brand Marketing Communications experience
- eCommerce experience would be a plus
- Experience in launching a new brand would be preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in leading a team while also being able to work independently when required
- Sound understanding of the marketing communication process &- updated on international best practices
- Can work in brainstorming sessions to crack innovative ideas
- Should be able to visualize and present concepts and ideas
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Should think creatively, motivate team members, work cross functionally, organize, plan, & prioritize work
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment
- Demonstrates creativity and immersion in Brand and Marketing Communication. (Give links to work as examples)
- Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why an idea is analytically sound & executable
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of campaign management from the creative standpoint. i.e Working knowledge of various media platforms, their respective audience behavior, when to use which platform and how a single campaign communication can be adapted and deployed across all relevant platforms
Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees/partners. ie: Spearhead a project from brief to execution
