Flipkart - Lead - Web Analytics (5-8 yrs)

Roles & Responsibilities : 

- You own analytics for one or more of the retail properties - website, mobile site & app. You will analyze impression & clickstream data to drive various product decisions. Use competitive insights, expert articles & white papers where appropriate to enhance digital insights.

- You are involved in identifying complex fuzzy problems, break it down in smaller parts and implement creative, data-driven solutions.

- Identify opportunities to improve conversion & user experience through data. Influence product & feature roadmaps.

- Analyze A/B or Multi-Variate Tests and drive fundamental improvements to site experience.

- Design tracking solutions for new features and be responsible for their success.

- Work with the UI engineering teams closely to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements.

- Responsible for defining, analysing and communicating key metrics and business trends to the management teams.

- Model data in order to create reporting infrastructure/dashboards for business process management and data mining.

- Drive data driven decision making through the stakeholders.

Must Haves : 

- Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputed institute or an MBA from a reputed institute.

- Minimum 5 Years of experience in relevant role

- Strong problem solving and web analytical skills. Acute attention to detail.

- Experience in analysing website experience, user paths, & AB test analysis

- Technical capabilities: Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, Test & Target or Optimizely, SQL, Excel and Scripting Language.

Nice to haves : 

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to multitask and work on a diverse range of requirements.

- Hands on: BI tools (Cognos, BO, Pentaho, Qlikview), Statistical tools (R, SAS etc)

- Experience in one or more roles in an online eCommerce or online support environments.

- Experience in creating and debugging website & app tracking.

- Experience in analysing very large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets.

- Penchant for business, curiosity about numbers and persistence to work with data to tease out insights.

Note:

We are looking for candidates from Tier 1 and 2 college. B.Tech or B.Tech+ MBA
