This BU will help Flipkart increase focus on critical customer segments like metro customers & women shoppers We are looking for people like us who will build a category together from scratch and scale and enroute gather fun filled learning experience Job description - Manager, Category Experience: Role Summary: List of Responsibilities: Positioning - Play critical role in enhancing consumer experience on UI in ecommerce space - Able to replicate premium offline experience into online space - Know the competition: Understand on-line and off-line players - Experience strategy and planning Know the customer - Deeply understand customer behaviour, develop new customer insights - Know the market and trend forecasts: Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on selection, gaps, size, internal capabilities, etc. Optimise for monthly content and trend planning. - Influence the leadership: Convert strategies into action by liaising with cross-functional leadership and drive the changes required - Identify product differentiation based on consumer needs and journey funnel Associations & partnerships - Map out the shopper journey and identify the right mix of partnerships & associations to elevate the consumer experience for BGM - Ensure that Flipkart as a media channel is developed & used across any campaign that these brands might run regionally/nationally or globally (if relevant) - Own key marketing channels & metrics for BGM - Work with the Central PR & brand teams to effectively utilize the channel on continued repositioning objectives - Own customer experience by monitoring NPS and driving NPS improvement programs with relevant stakeholders - Lead competition intelligence for Books & General merchandise to generate insights and build defensibility - Working with in-house/ external designers to produce materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines Scale Platform Experience - Build content pipeline with partners for imagery, shoots and fashion feeds. Own cost improvement and overall content portfolio management. - Scale and build strategic content marketing partnerships in the ecosystem. - Manage in store promotions along with brands - make brands partners in customer communication - Make Flipkart - a destination by habit- for the customers through the best online shopping experience to discover largest and trendy assortment of products. - Own experience for category specific events and campaigns - innovate and execute high engagement topical events Requirements of the role - Degree in Marketing would definitely help; however not a requirement for the right candidate - Understanding of different media vehicles, experience of working with agencies will help - Strong project management/organisational skills. - Understanding of customer segmentation. - Ability to apply data based analytical approach to customer engagement and experience - Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion - Willing to take calculated risks to grow the portfolio - Must be willing to learn & develop ecommerce way of thinking - Ability to connect with people across teams & levels - Strong bias for Action - Flipkart works at a very rapid pace
