- Customers take advantage of easy cancellation and return policies to ease into the convenience that e-commerce provides. For some customers, it's about developing confidence on their first few interactions with the platform; while for others it's about having the convenience of getting the perfect sized fit. - The Returns and Cancellation Design Team owns the responsibility to ensure a smooth experience for customers who return products after delivery while ensuring costs associated with servicing the cancellation and returns also reduces. - The team works with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure customer-facing return policies, processes and execution continually evolve to make Returns experience a differentiator for Flipkart. - Stakeholders range across the different business heads as you are the key partner to handle the G2N PNL - from mobiles to grocery, from fashion to furniture each category provides a different nuance to designing the G2N experience. The business finance and the office of the CFO are again critical stakeholders as they have a key eye on costs and look to this team to solve this line for them. - The team works with different operations teams ranging from the returns supply chain, fraud ops, returns tech visit, returns tech calls to execute their vision into practice. - We are looking for a leader of this team with a key eye on data, deep stakeholder management and excellent people management skills. Role Summary: Your primary metrics will be - - Return Experience and Cancellation Experience - Return % and Cost of Returns - You would be expected to Build long term roadmaps on Return and Cancellation experience improvements and balance cost reduction across all business units in Flipkart - Bring in an external competition view of policy, cost and best practices across best in class e-commerce and retail companies across the board. - Build a deep understanding of policies and processes, understand the levers, areas that need interventions for both - short term and long term &nbsp;-Socialize the roadmaps and translate them to product, process and policy level actionables - Liaise with internal and external teams on execution plans, unblock where required - Build and maintain excellent relationships with business partners and finance partners - Work closely with business/functional teams on new ideas, projects or escalations - Setting up the team members for success Desired Skills and Competencies : - Great people manager - lead a bunch of great folks in this area - Ability to break down large ambitious plans into smaller pieces and ensure execution - Strong prioritization skills - Bias for action - Strong understanding of technology and business - Stakeholder management - Quick learner Preferred Work Experience - 10+ years - Previous experience in Business Design and Operations roles in product, e-commerce, mobility, food-tech companies or emerging startups is a big plus.
