Retail Operations  The Retail Ops team at Flipkart is an interlink between Vendors, Warehouse and Business teams. The team is responsible for enabling the flow of Material and cash for the Retail Inventory as well as managing the working capital for all inventory in the Warehouse. Additionally, the team is venturing into managing operating relationship with the Vendors and driving predictability of operations by managing key operational metrics for the vendor  Your Role:  This is leadership role to drive Retail operations for entire Flipkart across categories. This will involve managing forward and reverse buying processes with cross functional stakeholders, namely Categories, Inventory planning, Bizfin, Supply Chain, Product and others  - Track and improve key metrics pertaining to business operations covering speed and accuracy and taking quick decisions to align end objective of seller and customer delight.  - Identify lead/lag indicators and drive initiatives to get things back on track.  - Drive strong system capabilities partnering closely with Technology/Engineering team to deliver the various initiatives  - Build and drive policy and process implementation across the org. This would include sensitizing the leadership to the various policies and driving adoption  - Have a business view on key metrics including Fill Rates and Working capital and build the right operating models to drive efficiency  - Be a core team member in the engagement between the supply chain planning & ops team and the various categories  - Lead strategic initiatives in the retail area from the business operations perspective with the supply chain planning & operations platform  - Use effective information, project/process management tools and practices to deal with new or abstract situations and deliver outcomes.  - Accountable for communication of progress, accomplishments and challenges across marketplace. Facilitate employees all hands on regular basis.  - Drive strong system capabilities partnering closely with Technology/Engineering team for third party logistics  - Explore and implement new delivery models  - Innovate: Develop and implement industry best practices. Move the industry with you!
