Your job in a nutshell: Act as a scribe and storyteller - unearth, develop and write compelling, dynamic stories/messages that inspires and drives employee communication and engagement @ Flipkart. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop content strategies, plans, stories and deliverable to drive employee engagement within the organization. 2. Manage projects from concept to completion, including information gathering, content development, review, editing and final publication. 3. Partner with Senior leaders and develop/customize content and messaging for their business units, in line with overall organization communication messaging. 4. Ensure content meets business objectives while adhering to brand guidelines. 5. Mentor a team of young writers. Education, Experience and Skills: 1. Preferred Education Background: Masters /Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, public relations or communications. 2. A minimum of 12 years of experience in content writing; experience in digital content would be a plus. 3. Prior experience working with senior executives on communications strategy. 4. Superior writing, editing and verbal communication skills: Must possess solid written and verbal communication skills and should be able to craft and deliver key messages to a variety of audiences. 5. Proactive and innovative - Able to identify and leverage opportunities to advance the team's communications objectives in creative, memorable ways that utilizes a variety of media. Should be able to work with peers across multiple business verticals. 6. Results driven - Must be able to thrive on hard work and consistent challenge. Proven ability to be hands-on and data oriented. 7. Agile - Be able to respond to new and changing requirements based on both a dynamic market and company environment. 8. Eye for detail - Have a reputation for being a grammar Nazi. 9. Organized, deadline driven, and able to manage multiple projects and engagements simultaneously.
