Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join our India team. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of proven success in the IT staffing and consulting industry, with hands-on experience in outside sales, new client acquisition, and account growth. This role demands strong expertise in both hunting and farming across Onshore (United States) and Offshore (India) markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage full life-cycle account and sales plans, from proposal presentation through to client closing.

- Identify new business prospects and build sales strategies to secure new client engagements.

- Understand clients' business objectives and position Flexton's services to deliver impactful results.

- Engage with executive-level stakeholders with confidence, clarity, and consultative selling.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients across all functions, including performance, delivery, billing, and contract negotiation.

- Meet or exceed revenue targets by successfully closing placements for Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Full-Time roles with direct clients.

- Collaborate closely with internal recruitment teams to ensure alignment between client requirements and candidate availability.

- Train, mentor, and lead junior sales team members to foster consistent team performance and growth.

Required Experience and Skills:

- Proven direct sales experience in the IT staffing and consulting industry.

- Prior managerial or leadership experience within a staffing or consulting environment.

- Demonstrated ability in developing sales strategies, cold calling, closing deals, and preparing pricing proposals.

- Track record of success in fast-paced, competitive, and deadline-driven environments.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, follow-up, and closing skills.

- Strong ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.

- Collaborative mindset to work effectively across cross-functional teams, including delivery and operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Experience working with VMS/MSP clients is a significant advantage.

- Familiarity with US and India staffing models, including C2C, W2, and T&M.
