Fleet maintenance is the process of keeping your vehicles operating in a good enough condition so that they are safe, reliable and can stay on the road longer. Responsibilities
- Streamline all Fleet maintenance activities and processes.
- Develop, monitor and review the service schedule factoring in the fleets needs and what the manufacturer recommends so that the vehicles stay in prime working condition.
- Coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle maintenance.
- Prioritize and assign work to meet customers needs.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of company's assets.
- Control repair, inventory, and labor costs by maintaining a complete inventory system through recording of all expenditures of each vehicle, maintenance equipment, repair parts, supplies, etc.
- Manage facilities, assuring a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of fleet maintenance management (Fleet size of 1000 1500 vehicles) experience preferred, in an environment with strong process orientation and operational metrics.
- Degree in engineering from an accredited institution required.
- Requires strong process orientation.
