First Steps Baby Wear - AGM - Talent Management & PMS (10-12 yrs)

Role Description:

Shall be responsible for ensuring effective management of Talent Management initiatives including Performance Management; HRMS; Employee Engagement & Relations; Employee Retention and Rewards; Talent Development functions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

A. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

a) Ensure timely roll out of performance appraisal process across the Organization;

b) Ensure periodical review and feedback on the performance of all eligible employees

c) Participate / Facilitate in managing inadequate performance issues and implementation of corrective actions wherever required

d) Continuous follow up to ensure timely completion of periodical appraisal reviews

e) Collate; compile and report performance ratings - department-wise; level-wise to the Management.

f) Identify talent gaps in the organization & build talent pipelines to ensure continuity & smooth operations.

g) Implement performance enhancement plans for inadequately performing team members in consultation with concerned HOD and Group HR Head.

h) Identify productivity issues and suggest suitable actions to improve productivity.

i) Identify high potential employees and critical resources and design appropriate succession plan for critical positions.

B. TALENT ENGAGEMENT & RETENTION

a) Conceptualize; formulate and ensure execution of employee engagement activities / events / celebrations

b) Ensure periodical one-on-one with employees to address any professional and personal issues

c) Participate and guide team in creating awareness amongst employees on personal hygiene, safety and security, adhering to quality and food safety standards etc.

d) Drive the Quality Improvement Initiatives in coordination with Quality and Operations Teams to improve employee participation

e) Analyze key attrition drivers and suggest remedies to contain attrition

C. TALENT MANAGEMENT

a) Conceptualize; design and roll out HR policies and processes and ensure that employees are familiar with these.

b) To create an environment, where employees share their grievances to create Great Place for the employees to work.

c) Develop Reward & Recognition policies to motivate employees,

d) To create better opportunities for the self and organization development.

e) Design and roll out appropriate Employee Communication channels and ensure timely communication of key decisions / changes in the organization to all Employees;

f) Oversee the effective working of HRMS and ensure necessary data is stored and retrieved for management decisions.

g) Conceptualize and drive CSR Activities in accordance with Company's CSR policies

h) Initiate and carry out Competency / Potential Assessments;

i) Ensure timely conducting various Surveys (Satisfaction; Engagement) to assess the people engagement; motivation; satisfaction levels at the Company.

D. TALENT DEVELOPMENT

a) Identify training needs basis interactions with HODs and PMS data

b) Facilitate organizing suitable training programs for Employees using internal / external sources.

c) Identify high potential employees and critical resources at all the Units for further development

d) Drive and oversee Leadership Development initiatives;

e) Work very closely with Group Head - HR in identifying and driving new HR Initiatives across the organization.

f) Work very closely with Group Head - HR in driving and executing all people strategies and people processes including HR policy documentation and roll out; employee relations; employee engagement initiatives; employee development initiatives etc.

Key Requirements - Qualification & Experience

- Any Graduate with Master's in Business Administration (MBA)

- 12 - 15 years of post-qualification experience in the areas of Human Resources; HR Generalist Functions; Project Management.

- Excellent verbal and written English Communication Skills (proficient)

- Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Excellent orientation towards rural environment; real estate; property management

Key Requirements - Skills & Competencies

- Functional knowledge of Textiles / Garments Industry sector is mandatory

- Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills

- Ability to translate business opportunities in quantitative models.

- Strong communication skills, flexible, also ability to communicate unconventional solutions

- Highly developed interpersonal skills with solid negotiation, mediation and diplomatic skills

- Excellence in collaboration; communication and creativity skills

- Working knowledge of Tamil, Telugu & Kannada is essential.
