The Senior Compliance role will manage and drive all aspects of the FINO Compliance Department including, but not limited to, developing and updating various Compliance programs, policies and procedures, attending and representing the Compliance Department in various Bank-wide committee and senior level meetings, providing Compliance guidance to the lines of business, identifying and addressing necessary training in line with regulatory and industry trends. - Serves as a primary point of contact and subject matter expert during annual Safety and Sound bank examinations and internal audits. - The CCO is expected to possess knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and non-AML/Retail Products, Banking Plocies and Guidelines - Periodically review, revise and create the Bank's various KYCs and other account opening documents and processes and provide training as and when needed - Stay abreast of emerging technologies such as self sovereign ID/ KYC and digital banking trends - Support the KYC and other Business team providing guidance, resolving issues with business lines and if appropriate, develop new processes and appropriate training - Ensure the Bank's various risk assessments - products, services and business lines, are current and complete. - Ensure the Compliance Department's various programs, policies and procedures are current and complete and in line with RBI regulations and Payment Bank guidelines - Maintain a current knowledge of marketplace compliance and compliance best practices and recommend changes to existing bank policy as necessary. - Strong relationships with RBI stakeholders as Departmental heads well is a critical component as is the ability to work successfully within a dynamic, fast paced environment. Qualifications - 20 years experience of increasing responsibility working for a regulatory agency examining banks, in the field of banking compliance providing advice and/or guidance on banking regulations - Deep understanding of Banking products and process. - Small Finance Bank background candidates will be preferred or Universal banking background with strong forte in AML,Process and Policy regulation - Experience in engagement with law enforcement during fraud events and material AML alerts/concerns - Executive presence, as reporting to management and Board is frequent. - Ability to interact effectively with bank regulators - Ability to interact actively and effectively with the Bank's senior management and their lines of business - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage staff - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Highly organized and an attention to details Location- Navi Mumbai - Only Banking candidates with relevant experience in Regulatory Compliance, AML and Retail Banking products knowledge - Candidates with experience in Small Finance Bank or universal Banks and having a fair understanding of Payments and Digital Banking Operations - Managed a team and also Regulatory bodies at regular intervals
