Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks :

The following tasks are performed within the below described level of accountability, complexity, experience, communication :

Accountability : Deliver outcomes of assigned topics and projects or areas of responsibilities; work independently on large, complex topics white setting priorities having sole responsibility

Complexity : Complex issues in own area (e.g. cross-functional or cross-BU projects); Decisions/solutions can enhance essentially current and future design and strategy and enhance complex systems/processes

Experience : Advanced functional knowledge in own area, developed lasting customer relations, several years of experience

Communication : Build and maintain partnerships with customers, communicate clear and conveying processes & policies in a way that others can understand

BU HRBP :

BU HRBP will support all their respective assigned BU ( or multiple BUs) managers in regard to people issues

The focus of the HRBP is to deal with employee relation matters. He/she acts as Change Agent rolling out key processes and in addition supporting managers in people related issues by providing guidance and counseling on HR topics and policies that must be adhered to. Moreover, the HRBP supports employees in very sensitive or complex situations

The HRBP reports to the FSS HR Head and work closely with respective Business Unit Head

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS :

- Act as HRBP for assigned manager/teams; handle highly sensitive issues with the utmost discretion

- Act as trusted advisor to assigned managers aligning both people and business strategy

- Recommend and participate to implement initiatives for future HR related topics with the business and within HR

- Drive and manage business organizational development as well as change management aspects

- Bring fresh perspective and generate new ideas

- Take initiative in driving own career development

- Strive to continuously learn and develop HR competencies

- Graciously and eagerly accept challenges beyond regular scope of work

- Build solid network within HR community and broader FSS community internally to foster collaboration

- Demonstrated hunger to learn, grow and develop by being mentally agile

- Collaborate and coordinate with other departments (e.g. COEs, Recruitment, HR operations) to address HR-related topics

- Cooperate in cross FSS HR projects

- Drive execution of the HR strategy, the HR portfolio (e.g. Total Rewards, Performance Management, Employee surveys, on-boarding, salary round, promotions) and on-demand HR topics

Requirements and Expectations :

- Full-time MBA (or equivalent) from a reputed B-school in India

- 10-12 years professional work experience in HR

- Business level English with excellent communication skills

Specific Areas of Responsibilities :

- Responsibilities include managing employee life cycle via tasks such as performance management, counseling, competency assessment and anchoring training and development sessions

- Provide the strategic interface between HR and business unit heads to embed a strategic approach to human resource development and management that results in more effective front line delivery

- Work with business to come with innovative plans to control attrition, preparation of retention management strategies, working on initiatives aimed at increasing the engagement levels of employees.

- Employee engagement survey result analysis, Conduct focus group discussion with employees to identify the root cause and based on the gaps propose action plan to the senior management team.

- Provide advice and guidance to BU managers recommending HR solutions across all HR disciplines which drives positive culture

- Coach and develop line managers building their skills and competencies to manage and maximize their effectiveness and performance and that of their teams

- Conduct regular employee pulse check meetings to understand the ground and submit reports to the business unit head and recommend action plans

- Drive and support the development delivery of cultural change plans and interventions

- Conduct exit interviews and analysis of the data

- Design and oversee development plans for key people, high potentials

- Proactively monitor and advise line managers on managing employee related issues

- Work with BU managers on creating performance improvement plans and monitoring

- Work with managers on PI implementation and compensation planning and roll out of compensation related decisions
