Work Context :
This role would have the critical responsibility of leading, managing and providing direction to the Wholesale Payments strategic business unit. The Head - Wholesale Payments would also be responsible for driving, managing and providing leadership to the entire Wholesale Payments team at FSS.
Role Purpose :
- Provide strategic direction, leadership and expertise to the Wholesale Payments Business Unit to help achieve the organizational goals of business growth and expansion
- Lead the wholesale payments team at FSS.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategize the Business Growth Roadmap
- Envision, Define and Implement the business strategy to provide direction for the Wholesale Payments Strategic Business Unit to ensure achievement of the business goals of growth and expansion
Drive Business Expansion Goals :
- Analyse the current market trends impacting wholesale payments and conceptualize innovative solutions to tap into new markets
- Identify and translate new business leads into opportunities
- Examine the current approach to business development and suggest corrective measures wherever applicable
Strive to achieve Operational Excellence in current processes :
- Ensure maintenance of highest standards of process efficiency with strict adherence of ISO standards as well as defined SLAs
- Ensure a seamless customer experience in all aspects including document signoffs, testing readiness, project delivery etc.
Project Management :
- Maintain overall project effectiveness and efficiency by defining, developing, delivering and supporting strategic blueprints critical for project management and delivery
- Co-ordinate between different stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation
- Identify, analyze and prioritize project risks and devise contingency plan
- Review and audit project progress and ensure adherence to defined timelines, and suggest course corrections wherever required.
Continuous Process Improvement :
- Perform gap analysis and identify existing gaps in the ERP systems/processes and suggest corrective measures
Advisory to senior Management :
- Provide timely inputs, feedbacks, and suggestions to the senior management w.r.t to all ERP decisions.
- Prepare and regularly share reports and insights with the senior management regarding the ERP project progress.
Stakeholder Management :
- Manage and maintain relationship with various internal and external stakeholders involved in the ERP Implementation process including Consultants, Project Management Team, Implementation Partners, QA etc
- Ensure timely and clear feedback and communication between the various stakeholders
Role Requirements :
Experience :
15 + years of experience in handling and driving various ERP projects in reputed organizations

Educational Qualification : Post Graduate in Management
