Financial Reporting Role - CA

What will your essential responsibilities include?

- P&L Analysis Insurance Segment

- FX Analysis

- Balance Sheet - MD & A (Management Discussion & Analysis)

- Assist in equity translations by communicating with controllers and Financial group.

- Research ad-hoc issues during close

- Assisting in finalizing figures for Press Release, Earnings Scripts

- Assisting finalizing figures for external Surveys and communications

- Ledger vs actuarial data reconciliation for Earned Premium and Net Incurred losses

- Variance packs - generate the variance packs power points for the Business Partners

- Loss reserves reconciliation on the balance sheet.

- Net Written Premium and Loss Reserves by S&P Line Of Business

- Review of Insurance Technical Balance sheet reconciliations (Asset & Liabilities)

- Handling of Ad-hoc queries related to the process on a regular basis.

- Assist in quarterly close & reporting process and adhere to time schedules.

- Assisting in various audits - Statutory, SOX and Internal Audit

We- re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

- CA with at least 8 - 10 years of post-qualification experience

- Strong Accounting skills

- Good Communication Skills

- Strong in MS Excel

- Candidates with insurance Industry would be preferred
