Financial Reporting Role - CA

Job Description:

About the Role:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-7 years of work experience preferably in an NBFC.

- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, RBI regulations, and financial reporting standards.

- Experience in leading audit processes, including statutory and regulatory audits.

- Proficiency in advanced MS Excel and financial management software/tools.

- Demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key/Technical Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of IND AS, including its application in financial reporting, recognition, measurement, and disclosures.

- Ability to analyze and implement changes in IND AS requirements. of audit schedules and addressing auditor queries.

- Capability to set up or improve financial systems, ERP platforms (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Tally).

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting:

- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial statements as per IND AS & management requirements.

- Prepare monthly MIS to be presented before Management and stakeholders.

- Variance analysis between budgeted vs actual profit and loss and doing root-cause analysis for major variance line-items.

- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) & relevant regulatory guidelines.

- Regulatory Compliance:

- Prepare and file all regulatory returns in accordance with RBI norms and other applicable regulations.

- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance across all reporting areas.

- Audit Management:

- Lead the statutory, internal, and tax audit processes, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit queries.

- Coordinate with auditors, providing necessary documentation and information.

- Cross-functional Support:

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and cost control.

- Provide financial insights and data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.
