Financial Reporting Analyst - IFRS - Investment Bank (4-8 yrs)
Job description :
- Understand accounting schemas/requirements and translate of them in to specific accounting parameters (accounts, hierarchies, mapping etc)
- Management of parameter tables used to control General Ledgers and Financial Reporting processes
- Investigate reporting anomalies, identify causes and remediation of reporting breaks and inconsistencies
- Elaborate action plan to address identified issues, with different steps, deadlines and contributors across finance reporting and IT groups
- Preparation of structured dashboards and comprehensive presentations for management on priorities, achievements and challenges
- Contributing to Head Office projects with global impact.
- Performing gap analysis with group norms and existing setup.
- Elaboration of statistical analysis to monitor the progresses on actions launched and assistance in the elaboration of overview management presentations
- Co-ordinating actions among various teams e.g. Finance Projects, Financial Reporting, IT etc to implement necessary changes.
- Preparation of structured dashboards and comprehensive presentations with relevant accounting and financial reporting information, assistance in the elaboration of overview presentations for management on priorities, achievements and challenges.

Education/Experience :
- Post graduate with at least 3-4 years of post-qualification experience.(MBA Finance preferred)
- Graduate with atleast strong 5-7 years of after graduation experience in investment bank.(Accounting/Finance preferred can include B.Com, BMS, BBI, BAF or similar)
- Experience required in investment banking environment (Finance/Accounting orientated)
