Financial Planning & Analysis Role

1. Revenue Forecasting & Analysis

- Forecast management and performance fees based on Assets Under Management (AUM), fund performance, and inflows/outflows.

- Track and project revenue by product type (e.g., mutual funds, ETFs, private equity, institutional mandates).

2. Expense Management

- Monitor operating expenses across departments (portfolio management, sales, marketing, compliance, IT).

- Allocate costs to business units and evaluate efficiency and profitability.

3. Profitability & Margin Analysis

- Analyze profitability at the product, channel, and client level.

- Understand fee structures and their impact on margins (e.g., tiered pricing, performance incentives).

4. AUM & Flow Analytics

- Model asset growth scenarios considering market performance, net inflows/outflows, and client behavior.

- Assist in strategic planning based on trends in asset growth or client retention.

5. Strategic & Scenario Planning

- Support strategic initiatives like product launches, M&A activity, and market entry.
