Financial Controllership Role

We are looking for a Financial Controller for factories who can set strategies, implement them as well as handle the everyday financial requirements of a fast-growing organization. The successful candidate will collaborate with the executive team to determine more effective ways to handle corporate finance, tax issues and growth financing. If you have a strong background in corporate financial management and a strong desire to become a part of a dynamic team, you may be the perfect person to fill this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES :

- Experience at accounting / audit firms Experience in bookkeeping, MIS, income statements, and unaudited financial statements

- Collaborating with auditors to ensure timely preparation of audited financial statements

- Comfort with relevant provisions of the Companies Act, Contract Act,FEMA, and others

- Comfort in leading taxation (direct and indirect), while keeping eye on evolving laws

- Leading implementation and management of strict internal controls across domains

- Strong orientation in setting-up robust systems, and improving existing systems if needed

- Coordination with banks and vendors; working with secretarial, legal, and HR functions

- Experience in vetting and opening on various contracts from a financial perspective

- Strong experience in understanding and replying to notices from government bodies

- Ability to evaluate tools and technology for automating functions across key areas

- Strong communication (written and verbal), passion for ownership,collaborative attitude

PROFESSIONAL EXPIERENCE / QUALIFICATIONS :

- Qualified CA with Minimum of 10 Years of experience in a reporting /controllership role

- Big 4 experience in the first few years will be preferred

- Experience in handling teams is preferred

- Setup internal systems and processes and a high-quality lean finance team

- Must be well versed in Statutory filings, in-depth knowledge of accounting regulations and standards

- Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and organized professional

- Must be trustworthy, discreet, and ethical

- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment where change is constant.

- Languages: Tamil, English - Must, Hindi / Others - Advantage
