Financial Controller - Real Estate - CA

Our client, a leading Real Estate organisation into diversified businesses, is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial strategy, compliance, and process optimization across multiple business verticals.

This leadership role involves managing financial reporting, audits, tax compliance, treasury operations, ERP systems, and team development in a dynamic, multi-industry environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee financial reporting & compliance, ensuring adherence to IFRS/GAAP and local tax regulations across business units.

- Lead internal & external audits, ensuring timely completion and regulatory compliance.

- Implement and optimize ERP systems, streamlining financial processes and reporting across sectors.

- Manage cash flow, borrowing, and funding strategies, optimizing working capital for diversified operations.

- Oversee treasury and banking operations, including hedging and credit facilities.

- Ensure accurate revenue, accruals, and cost management, aligning with multi-sector financial planning.

- Develop and enforce risk management & internal controls to safeguard assets across industries.

- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance, growth-oriented culture.

What We're Looking For:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification (MBA in Finance preferred).

- 15+ years of finance experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.

- Strong expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

- Hands-on experience in tax compliance, treasury, audits, and financial operations within diversified industries.

- Strategic mindset with a proven ability to drive efficiency, cost optimization, and revenue growth across multiple sectors.

Location: Mumbai.
