Financial Controller - NBFC - CA

Our Client is one of the fast-growing NBFCs in Mumbai backed by an Indian Conglomerate.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the incumbent would be responsible for managing the finance team & be in-charge of :

- Ensuring that all accounting records (books of accounts), financial statements,balance sheet closure and other financial reports are accurate and duly comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements (RBI/NHB)

- Ensuring that the company complies with all GST & other taxes and that all filings with the respected authorities are done on time and that there are no outflows / fines/ levies imposed on account of non-compliance

- Reviewing and monitoring key activities like critical payments, collections, financial systems & GAAP implementation

- Engaging with auditors (internal / external), ensure that all accounts are duly audited on time

- Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, MIS activities

The Successful Candidate should:

- Be a qualified CA with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience with prior experience in NBFC/HFC/MFI/Financial Services domain/Big 4 FS Audit

- Be well-versed with financial controls & regulatory reporting

- Have managed teams in the past & possess external stakeholder management skills
