Financial Controller - NBFC

- Should be from NBFC / HFC.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the CEO / senior management, the person will be responsible for leading the

Finance and Accounts function, ensuring the accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory norms and implementing and maintaining a robust internal control system.

Financial Reporting and Budgeting

- Ensure accurate financial reporting and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards

- Conduct a robust annual budgeting exercise, working with cross functional heads to ensure prudent planning

- Monitor variances from budget and implement corrective actions if necessary

- Analyse key performance metrics and provide insights to support decision making and improve key metrics.

Compliance:

- Stay up-to-date with updated accounting standards and rules notified by RBI and other regulators from time to time

- Ensure financial reporting is in line with updated regulations at all times.

Audit:

- Coordinate and manage audits, including statutory, internal and tax audits, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing

- Address audit findings and implement actions to enhance financial controls.

Treasury and Cash Management:

- Interact closely with lenders and other financial institutions to optimize balance sheet yield and ensure availability of funds as needed.

Investor Relations:

- Maintain relationships with investors and ensure transparent sharing of information in the form of regular MIS reports.
